The SD units are now offered with the option of two types of attachment points:
Side view of the underbars.

Low attachment points: Under bars are placed under the arms and allow more flexibility on reverse launch.  The engine is easier to carry on the ground and it offers a better vision in flight.

High attachment points: Adjustable J-bars, for easier take-off as well as for more comfortable long distance flights. They are attached to the frame by two rubber blocks which reduce the engine vibration transmitted to the pilot.

 

This optional trike weighing 26 lbs (12 kilos) can be used with all the SD range.
	The wheel turns thus taxiing on the ground becomes very easy.  It also has a brake on the front wheel and a Quick Release fitting which makes it a snap to use for foot launch or a more leisurely trike take off on wheels. (Animation)
Easy to start Cruise control Footrest Solid & safe frame The SD frame recognized for its solidity, is made of aluminum type 6061-T6.  It easily breaks down in 4 parts and each sections of the  cage is finished with a rubber seal to allow for a perfect assembly between each part.     With this solid cage, it is possible to use the engine during inflation without the fear of the lines touching the propeller, even with the trike. The SD RDM
	Built especially for powered paragliding, the RDM engine is easier to maintain than the Solo engine and it is also reliable and more robust.   Because of the modifacations we carry out on the engine when we manufacture the SD it is without doubt one of the most reliable, easy to start and quietest powerplants used for Powered Paragliding requiring very little maintainance. The new SD RDM light
There is now the SD with new the RDM light.  It is as reliable as its "big brother".  It weights 2 1/2 kilos less and is a little more powerful than the "regular" RDM.  It has a thrust of approximately 58 kilos (125 lbs).      It is the same RDM except for the ignition which has a new fly wheel with fins for ventilation, re engineered to make it lighter at just 54 lbs (24.5 kilos).




SD with the Radne Engine

The SD Radne for the lighter pilots. The Radne engine is recognized for its robustness.  It has 120cc and is built simply while remaining reliable and asks little maintenance, it is ideal for a pilot weighting up to 80 kilos.  Its simplicity and price make it an excellent choice for the lighter pilot on a budget.   The SD Radne has a total weight of 49 lbs (22 kg) which makes it perfect for the lighter pilot as well as ladies who will probably choose a smaller cage and propeller (100 cm rather than 125 or 135 cm).
