About ParaToys
My name is Mike Robinson, and for any of you who are not aware, my wife Michelle and I are the new owners of ParaToys. We would like to take a moment of your time to introduce ourselves and tell you a little about our ambitions for our paramotoring community through our ownership of this company. We purchased ParaToys in the hopes of turning our hobby and passion into a family owned and operated business. Before purchasing ParaToys I was the owner and operator of a Speculative Home Building Business for 25 years as well as several other companies. I know my way around business and am excited to bring that knowledge to work at ParaToys. I have been involved in general aviation all my life (My father was in the crop dusting business). I began flying PPG at our ranch in Valley Springs, California several years ago and found that though many of the PPG designs were similar, they needed something different. The purchase of ParaToys came as a shock to many -especially myself! This gave me the starting point I needed to establish my vision and our future in the PPG community.
We moved the company to our Ranch Home in Northern California. Along with Michelle and four additional long time employees, we are enjoying life and work on the ranch where take off and landing are just a step out the door. All employees, including Michelle are PPG pilots. It is our belief that you must understand how this equipment works as well as flies in order to assemble, sell and ship. To work at ParaToys you must be a PPG pilot.
Since November of last year we have been busy with numerous projects. Along with the move home, ParaToys has gone through a strong restructuring, great steps have been made to insure timely delivery of product by increasing inventory dramatically. With our larger staff and increased parts inventory we will be able to ship your complete order within 2 business days. We are also proud to announce our new website is now up and operational. The site also has new testimonials of how these products have inspired unlikely people to become pilots. We have also created this newsletter to keep you informed of new products, sales and events.
We hope to bring ParaToys into the 21st century by providing top quality products along with superb customer service for an affordable price. Some of our new designs were showcased at the ParaToys and the Flying Circus fly-ins. More recently, many pilots were able to see the Momentum and New ParaToys II gliders flown acro-style by Max and Bradley of Torrey Pines at the second annual Gann Ranch fly-in. This gathering was meant to be a home town relaxed fly-in and it turned out to be just that. 60 pilots attended and enjoyed our incredible scenery. Check the website to see photos and videos.
My promise to this PPG community is to do all within my power to offer the highest quality and safest products available.
Sincerely,
Mike and Michele Robinson
GONE GREEN.
The New ParaToys has gone "green". As of early this year, ParaToys has completly unpluged from the grid and are running on solar and wind power for our manufacturing, assembly, sales and training. Above the Fray, and Below the Clouds, we are an all new ParaToys!
